What this project involves
Our docs are good and nobody reads them. We want a copilot that answers with citations, drafts replies for agents to approve, and can say 'I do not know'.
Indicative scope — the client named the parts, not the money
1. Retrieval and evaluation harness
2. Answer layer with citations
3. Agent approval flow and observability
These are the parts of the work, not the money. The client posts a budget range, so the amount per milestone is agreed with whoever is hired — priced in your proposal and split across the team there.
Write a retrieval rerank function that returns top-k passages with a confidence score, and say how you would measure whether it helps.
